When customers are confronted with a full-blown Kofax installation, they are often confused which module to start with. Where could I publish batches? Where can the messages imported by KIC be observed? Where to delete batches created for test purposes?
The graphic below tries to answer some of those questions. It is intended as a general overview and may help your customers figuring out where to start at. As of now, I only focus on Kofax Capture, Transformation Modules, the Import Connector and Front Office Server. The overview is separated into three different sections:
- Configuration: dedicated to those who do initial setup and configuration, such as setting up new batch classes, new KTM processes, adding destinations to KIC and so on.
- Processing: individuals processing documents with Kofax on a daily basis.
- Maintenance: administrators, concerned with keeping the system up and running.
